Pigment preparations
Pigment preparations, or pigment pastes, are mixtures in which the pigment is already dispersed in a liquid binder. They are mainly used to color coatings, emulsion paints and printing inks.
Industries
Compared to powder pigments, pigment preparations have the advantage that they can be incorporated more easily into the paint system, and have already developed their full color strength without having to go through a complex dispersing process.
